Mark Watford

Mark qualified with a London practice in 1975, and worked overseas for a Big 4 practice immediately after qualifying. On returning to the UK, Mark then spent 9 years in the commercial world with a banking group before returning to the profession and joining Demacks in 1989, becoming a partner in 1990. Mark specialises in small to medium companies and acts as the compliance and money laundering reporting officer for the firm. Mark lives in the Sussex countryside with his family and has a keen interest in rugby, tennis and scuba diving.

Frances Down

Frances has a broad commercial background, gained whilst training as an accountant within the air industry. Frances joined Books & Co in 1982 becoming a partner in 1990. Frances mainly specialises in tax, including capital taxes, trusts and estate planning, but also has an extremely broad client base consisting of small to medium sized limited companies, partnerships and sole traders. Although enjoying the cut and thrust of the business world, Frances has always had an abiding passion for farming and in her spare time enjoys running her smallholding in Sussex.

Mike Harding

Mike entered professional practice in 1985, qualifying in 1991 before leaving to establish his own practice, subsequently merging and becoming a partner with Demacks in 1999. Mike has dealt with a wide range of clients throughout his career specialising in a small to medium sector and business start ups. Mike lives in Surrey with his family and is a keen sportsman, playing rugby and golf and following most other sports, with other leisure interests including motor cycling.

Roger Ferris

Roger qualified in 1971 having trained with a local firm becoming a partner shortly after qualifying. Roger became a partner in Demacks when merging his client base in 1994. Roger is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and has a diverse and varied client portfolio. Roger is a very keen golfer and lives in Sussex.
